We are excited to announce the release of our Wathen's Barrel Proof Single Barrel. The Charles Medley Distillery, one of the last independent and family-owned Kentucky bourbon brands, has been using the same mash bill for 8 generations, 77% corn, 10% rye, 13% malted barley. Charles and Sam Medley contract distill at an undisclosed distillery and oversee the entire process from start to finish. 

During the total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, the Whiskey House got together with Charles and Sam Medley to pick one barrel from ten of the best barrels from their inventory to go on to be a special release called "Wathen's Eclipse." Frugal was lucky enough to get to taste through the other 9 barrels and pick our favorite to bring to Nashville.
